Despite the current world pandemic of Covid-19 we are pleased to announce that Gryphon Production Sdn Bhd has made plans to host an audio-visual fair in 2021. The fair is slated for early Q3 of 2021 and will be held in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
“We have noticed that due to the MCO situation that many hifi enthusiasts are missing a fair this year. So, it struck us that there is a need to put on a great spanking fun audio-visual fair. The event industry is in a predicament, but we cannot just be waiting, idling away. We need to have some faith and plan now.
Discussions with potential venues have been concluded and it has been narrowed down to just 2, with one having an upper hand due to its strategic location. Attendees and exhibitors can rest assure that the venue will be most conducive as it is a 5-star venue.
At Gryphon Production we believe in pushing the envelope. For those who attend they will have a totally new experience. There will be a lot of content, other than what the exhibitors are offering. Expect to see live performances and more. As organiser of the event we need to ensure that attendees have a memorable experience.” said Wilson Teoh, director of Gryphon Production Sdn Bhd
Other than just a mere event website, a bespoke app is brewing. This is so that being at the fair will be more interactive and engaging affair.
“Having been in the concert, entertainment and events industry for 2 decades, we want to now bring in all our wealth of experience and inject it into the audio-visual industry. Times are changing and we need to evolve so that all stakeholders benefit. That is why we are also
engaging a professional ticketing company as our partner,” added Wilson Teoh.
Having touched base with audio-video dealer and distributors in Malaysia, their response has been most encouraging.
“I have personally been in touch with dealers from Peninsular and East Malaysia over the last few months and quite a few have given me their backing for this event. It is most encouraging and humbling that they are placing their faith in Gryphon Production. Nonetheless, there is much more work to be done in putting the whole event together.”
However, the event is subject to circumstances of the worldwide pandemic and the approval and conditions set forth by all relevant authorities.
“We have started discussions with relevant parties to ensure that the event is properly sanctioned and organised with all the appropriate health guidelines in place. It is still very fluid for the moment, but we feel that it is most important to commence all the ground work now rather than take a wait-and-see approach. Attendees and exhibitors can rest assure that the event will be put together with constant advice from professional and authorities. Health and safety of our utmost concern.” he said.
Further information on the event will be released once a date is set for the official launch, of which is expected in Q3 this year.
