This is not a typical hifi or HT review as it is more the essentials behind it which is the Internet quality especially for video streaming.
While my previous Internet hardware of a router downstairs and a repeater upstairs seems to do the job for 4K and TIDAL streaming, the seamless connectivity has diminished eversince WFH started in March 2020. With 4 MS Team users and 1 Zoom user concurrently, plus Netflix, Apple TV, TIDAL and Spotify usage, buffering and 'internet not available' issues seems to be getting worst by the day. This happens even with a full wifi signal bar can be seen on my devices.
Video call drops, unable to finish a streaming movie, TIDAL drops, video on YT and on FB not loading....are some of the issues that has become unbearable.
I had read and watched videos about ISPs not telling consumers everything about the state of internet in Malaysia compared to neigbouring countries and this situation could be remedied by some other devices. I was not fully convinced until a few days ago....
